Announcing The Tag Comics Story Prize

Write it. We’ll draw it. Our free short story contest opens November 1, with $1,500 in cash prizes, and the winning story becomes a real TAG Comics comic.

TAG Comics is launching its first short story contest, The Tag Comics Story Prize. Write an original short story, and if it wins, our artists will turn it into a real TAG Comics comic. There is $1,500 in cash prizes for the top three stories.

The challenge: “You’re It.”

Someone is chosen. Someone is marked. Someone is handed something they can’t pass back. Tell us what happens next, in any genre: horror, romance, sci-fi, comedy, or something we’ve never seen.

What you could win

Grand Prize: $1,000 cash, and your story adapted into a TAG Comics comic, drawn by our artists, with a share of the comic’s revenue, print copies and full writer credit.

Two runners-up: $250 cash each, and your story published in the TAG Comics anthology.

Readers’ Choice: voted by fans, with store credit and an original illustration of a scene from the story.

Everyone who enters gets a discount at the TAG Comics store.

The basics
