These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TAG Comics website at www.tagcomics.com, our online store, TAG Reader, our email and text message programs, and any digital comics you buy from us (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by TAG Comics ("TAG Comics", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. About TAG Comics

2. Using the Services
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, scrape, resell or redistribute any part of the Services, interfere with their security or operation, or use them in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account.
3. Digital comics
Our comics are sold as digital files (PDFs) delivered by download after purchase. When you buy a digital comic, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, read and keep it for your own private use. You may not share, upload, sell, lend or otherwise distribute the file, in whole or in part. Each order includes a limited number of downloads (currently 5).
Some titles are listed as "Pre-order" or "Coming soon" with an expected release date. Release dates may change. Items that are not yet released cannot be purchased until they go on sale.
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time before you place an order. Payment is processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners at checkout.
4. Refunds
Because digital comics are delivered instantly, sales are final once a file has been downloaded, except where the law requires otherwise. If a file you bought is faulty, incomplete or will not download, contact us at araoye@tagcomics.com within 14 days of purchase and we will replace the file or refund your order.
5. TAG Reader and free previews
TAG Reader lets you read free previews and selected free comics in your web browser. TAG Reader is free to use until December 2027. After that, full access is planned to cost $1 per month. We will publish the subscription terms and notify users before any charge applies, and no one will be charged without first agreeing to subscribe. We may add, change or remove titles and features in TAG Reader at any time.
6. Intellectual property
All comics, characters, artwork, stories, videos, logos and other content on the Services are owned by TAG Comics or its creators and licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. You may not use our characters, artwork or trademarks without our written permission.
7. Email updates
If you sign up for our newsletter or launch notifications, we will send you emails about TAG Comics releases, campaigns and news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
8. SMS / Text Message Program (TAG Comics Text Alerts)
Program description. TAG Comics Text Alerts sends recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you provide, about new comic releases, Kickstarter campaign launches (such as Delta Masquerade), special offers, and updates about your orders and downloads.
How to join. You can opt in by entering your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages on our website or at checkout, or by texting a keyword we publish to our number. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from TAG Comics at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. TAG Comics does not charge for text messages.
How to stop. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages unless you opt in again.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and the account holder of the mobile number or have the account holder's permission.
Privacy. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. For more on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links
The Services may link to other websites, such as Kickstarter or social media. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites.
10. Disclaimer
The Services and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAG Comics makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAG Comics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be waived.
